New Improved 'Fisherman's Rest'

I know that some people were a little worried that the occupants of my cottages had no toilet facilities. I decided to remedy this problem with a new addition to 'Fisherman's Rest' - an outside privy. It's big enough for a toilet or could be used simply for storage. There's also still space in the small yard for a few plant pots. This new 'improved' cottage is for sale on ebay right now.

New on the Market - 1/12th Scale 'The Porthole'

New in the Estate Agents window today - 1/12th scale 'The Porthole' - ideal as a family home but also with great business potential as a bed and breakfast or a restaurant. Julie Lawton made me the wonderful 'The Porthole' sign some time ago and I have been waiting for the right house to use it on ever since. The porthole window in the attic seemed to make this the ideal property for it. I imagined a retired sea captain sitting in his attic watching the ships go by through his telescope. Or I did also think this would make a lovely seaside B&B. It's on ebay right now so go and take a look.

Another Little 1/12th Scale Shop

This is another little 1/12th scale shop I've just completed. These are such fun to build and so easy to accommodate on a shelf or in a bookcase. And what sort of shop could it be - the possibilities are endless. Someone did mention an idea for an ice cream shop - sounds delicious - or I think my favourite would be a store filled with shabby chic accessories. This is on ebay right now if you have your own ideas for a new business!

New 1/12th Scale Shop

This is a new 1/12th scale shop just completed this weekend. I found the lovely big window on ebay a while ago - it's quite an old one, made by Anglesey Dolls Houses, so I won't be able to make another shop like this as they ceased trading some years ago. Such a nice deep window sill allows plenty of space for dispaying stock - ideal for flowers, antiques, shabby chic accessories - the possibilities are endless!

Another 1/12th Scale Sail Loft and Anchorage

I was asked if I could make another Sail Loft Cottage and also The Anchorage. Here they are together in the sunshine (yes, that rare thing - sunshine!) They look almost like the start of a little Cornish village.

1/12th Scale 'Sea Shanty Cottage'

Just completed yesterday - 'Sea Shanty Cottage'. I managed to get out in the garden between showers to take these photos. The brick front was a bit of an experiment - I've never tried using brick impress moulds before but they were quite straightforward to use - time consuming though!! Perhaps I will speed up with practise! Sea Shanty is on ebay right now.
