1/12th Scale Pretty Pink Cupcake Shop

I managed to dodge outside between the snow and the rain to cut out and make this little 1/12th scale property. I was asked if I could paint it pink as it is going to be a cupcake shop. Can't wait to see it filled with lots of delicious goodies!!

1/12th Scale 'La Galerie'

I've just listed my new shop 'La Galerie' on ebay. I've added the photo of it standing alongside 'La Parfumerie' so you can see how easy it would be to create a street of small shops on a shelf, or on the top of a bookcase. I like to think of them as French style shops but they could just as easily be seaside businesses, especially with the lovely pastel colours of the windows and doors. The choice is yours!!!

Newly Extended Primrose Cottage Back on the Market!!

The builders have been busy at Primrose Cottage. They have added a useful outbuilding with a pretty paved courtyard and a rather smart arched entry. Sam thought he would have a quick look round the property as soon as he saw it in the estate agent's window. Mrs. Smith is still there, teapot in hand, after brewing tea for the builders for weeks. The outbuilding could be a useful place for Sam to fix his nets and he certainly likes the look of the courtyard - a nice place to sit and soak up the sun in the summertime!
Sam was made by Robin Britton.
Mrs. Smith was made by Susan Emsell
The pots of flowers were made by Marianne Cook.

1/12th Scale 'Beacon Cottage'

This is 'Beacon Cottage', my latest 1/12th scale seaside cottage. Very similar to houses you will see in Cornwall this cottage is just perfect as a holiday let or for a fisherman when he is home from the sea. It has the little garden to the front which is just the right size for some pretty potted plants. Mine were made by Marianne Cook.

1/12th Scale 'La Parfumerie'

Isn't this a lovely shade of pink? I thought it went well with the elegant door and I decided that this little shop would make a wonderful perfume establishment. At just 10 inches wide and 6 inches deep it is the ideal size for anyone short of display space.

A Very Slim 1/12th Scale Shop!

What do you do if you only have a very small space left on a shelf and would like a dolls house to fit? You have a very small dolls house!! This little shop is only 6 inches wide - basically half of one of my usual shops - and it was built as a special order for Jackie. I can't wait to see what she does with it!!

1/24th Scale Shabby Chic Shop

This is a little 24th scale shop ideal for stocking shabby chic items. I used my favourite pretty pale green for the windows and door. That nice big windowsill needs to be filled with lots of goodies!

1/12th Scale Artisan's Cottage

This is my latest 1/12th scale shop/cottage, designed for the collector with only limited space - it is shallow enough to sit on a shelf or a windowsill. I saw a property advertised in the paper called 'Artisan's Cottage' and I thought it sounded like the ideal name for a dolls house!
