1/12th Scale 'Lupin Cottage'
This was my very first attempt at using the brick compound and stencil technique from Bromley Crafts. I found the bricks harder to do than the stone but I think I improved as I went along (I started off on the back wall so that any glaring mistakes wouldn't be too obvious!) This is Lupin Cottage. Same size and style as Cockleshell so they stand quite nicely together to form what could be the start of a seaside street. Mrs. Smith has been busy making tea for the handyman Bert who has called round just to make sure the house is in order before it goes on the market. He's enjoying a nice cup of tea and a chocolate biscuit before he starts work. Lupin Cottage is on ebay today so please take a look. Bert and Mrs. Smith were both made by the very talented Susan Emsell and the lavenders were from Marianne Cook.

1/24th Scale 'April Cottage' and 'Cowslip Cottage'
I've been busy making tiny cottages - April Cottage on the left and Cowslip Cottage on the right. Both in 1/24th scale and on ebay.co.uk right now. I think the daffodils just peeking out above the rooftops look so pretty - a real taste of Spring at last.

The Builders Have Been Busy Again!!
The first photo above is of 'Seashore Cottage', a little 1/12th scale one room house I built a little while ago. A customer asked if I could add an outside yard and outbuilding to the original cottage and also if I could change the finish from smooth plaster to the more textured papier mache effect. The second photo is of the finished article. The outbuilding and yard are separate to the cottage itself to make them easier to move around.

1/24th Scale French Style Shop/Restaurant
After building several French style shops recently in 1/12th scale I thought I would have a try with 1/24th scale and this is the result. I do have to be in the right mood for building 24th scale and I haven't done anything this small recently but I enjoyed it so much I have two more properties on my workbench right now waiting to be finished. I've just listed this little shop on ebay.co.uk under my seller name juliefben if you would like to take a look.

1/12th Scale 'Cafe du Printemps'
This is a new 1/12th scale French style dolls house/shop just completed. I called it 'Cafe du Printemps' because I was thinking of Easter and Spring but I'm afraid the weather wasn't quite on the same wavelength! This would make a lovely flower shop, cafe or small restaurant. It's on ebay right now so please go and take a look.
A 1/12th Scale Pink Cottage
I was asked if I could build a two roomed cottage a bit like Harbour View which I made some time ago but with pink windows rather than the green I used before. So here is the result. I think the pink is really cheerful and brightens an otherwise chilly 'Spring' day.
