1/12th Scale Reproduction 'Vintage' Box Back Dolls House

I had such a lot of fun building the first repro Lines house I had to make another. This time I chose a box back design and added a bit of aging to the paint work.

A Change From My Seaside Cottages......

I love old dolls houses but have had to accept that I will never be able to afford the ones I like the most. So I chose my favourite and made my own version. This is a reproduction of a Lines house model no. 13. I think it was the bay windows that appealed to me the most!

1/12th Scale French Style Shop for Paula

This is a 1/12th scale French style shop for Paula. As she enjoys decorating and I don't (!) I have left this shop completely blank for to finish off herself.

1/12th Scale 'Rapunzel's Tower'

This is 'Rapunzel's Tower', a 1/12th scale project built for Paula. The pointy window upstairs has opening shutters and the interior has been left bare for Paula to decorate herself.

1/24th Scale 'Crocus Cottage'

  This is 'Crocus Cottage' which is the first 1/24th scale house I've built in ages. I had forgotten how much I enjoy building at this scale so I am working on another little house right now.                                                                                                                                                                               

1/12th Scale 'Puffin's Nest'

This is 'Puffin's Nest'. I completed this little 1/12th scale cottage just after Christmas but I'm afraid it's taken me till now - nearly the end of January - to update my blog. I will try and do better this year!
